Explortunity is a strategy and design consultancy helping product-led businesses across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region develop clearer, stronger and more commercially grounded products.
We work across product strategy, physical product design, brand communication, and design-led operations, supporting teams from initial concept through to packaging, messaging and market readiness.
Our consulting approach bridges strategy and execution — combining deep product understanding with communication systems and operational clarity. We help businesses shape physical products, refine on-product communication, develop packaging direction, and align product, brand and business decisions for APAC markets.
With extensive experience across consumer goods, wellness, lifestyle, FMCG, hardware, industrial products, and emerging D2C brands, Explortunity provides both strategic direction and practical design support to help businesses move confidently from idea to market.
Clarity for ProductsBrands and Decisions
Benjy is a multidisciplinary consultant specialising in product strategy, physical product design, brand communication and design-led operations. With professional roots in Hong Kong, development work in the UK, and extensive experience across Australia and APAC, he brings an international, systems-driven approach to product development and strategic design.
He helps businesses build products that are functional, user-centred and commercially viable, while ensuring communication, packaging and brand expression remain consistent and clear. His work spans consumer goods, wellness and personal care, IoT hardware, FMCG, lifestyle, industrial categories and health-adjacent industries.
Alongside his strategic and product capabilities, Benjy brings hands-on creative and go-to-market experience — directing promotional content, running online retail operations, shaping product launches and producing category-defining brand experiences across APAC. He also contributes to the design community through teaching and mentoring, giving back to the industry he grew up in.
This multidisciplinary background enables him to support businesses end-to-end — from shaping the product to designing the communication, content and market pathways that take it to customers.

I've always believed that curiosity is the most powerful force in design. Throughout my career, I’ve met incredible people with strong ideas and brilliant design minds — yet so many of those ideas never make it into the world. Not because they lack creativity or intent, but because the path from idea to market is far more complex than it appears.
A great product isn’t just beautifully designed.
It also needs to be, commercially viable, strategically positioned, supported by clear communication, aligned with a real brand, and understood by the right audience.
Most creators and teams don’t fail at design — they struggle with the layers that come after design. The questions no one teaches us to answer: Does this make business sense? Can it become a brand? Will consumers understand it instantly? How do we tell its story? How do we get it into the world?
I’ve seen too many good ideas fade simply because there wasn’t the right support, structure or guidance to carry them through.
Explortunity exists because I don’t want those opportunities to be lost.
I created this practice to help bridge the gap between design, product, brand, communication and market reality, so ideas with genuine value have the clarity, structure and momentum they need to reach the world and genuinely benefit people.
That belief sits at the heart of everything I do.
